Try it on the house first
Pick a Miami style, paint the body, trim, accent and door, and see it in the morning, at noon and at sunset. Then take the colors to a sample board on your real wall.
Screens and drawings can't match real paint. Always test a large sample on the actual wall, in daylight, before you buy.

Reading the numbers
LRV
Light reflectance value: how much light a color reflects, from 0 (black) to 100 (white). Under the Miami sun, high-LRV walls absorb less heat and stay cooler to the touch.
Body, trim, accent
Art Deco buildings on Ocean Drive use a light body, crisp white trim and one strong accent on the eyebrows and fins. It's a good rule for any style.
See it at sunset
Warm evening light pushes pinks and peaches toward orange. If you'll mostly see the house after work, judge the colors then.
